Terms of Service
Last updated 20 September 2026 · BOOSTER.LLC
1. Who we are and who you are
These Terms govern your use of onwardair.io and the services offered on it (the Service). The Service is operated by BOOSTER.LLC, company number Pending — registration number to be published, registered at Los Angeles, California, United States — full registered address to be published (we, us, our). We trade as OnwardAir.
By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract, and that you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
You contract with us as a consumer unless you tell us otherwise. Where you act in the course of a business, the consumer-specific rights described in these Terms do not apply to you.
2. What we actually sell
This is the most important section of this document. Please read it carefully.
We sell a booking service. For the fee you pay us, we ask an airline, through a licensed airline-distribution provider, to hold a seat on a scheduled flight in the passenger name you give us. The airline creates a real reservation in its own system and returns a real booking reference, often called a PNR. We pass that reference to you together with a PDF itinerary setting out the flight, the times and the passenger name.
What you receive
- A genuine reservation recorded in the operating airline's reservation system.
- A booking reference that can be checked on the airline's own website or by telephone for as long as the reservation remains live.
- A PDF itinerary in the passenger's name showing the route, flight number, date and times.
What you do not receive
- Not a ticket. No ticket is issued, because no fare is paid. The itinerary carries no ticket number and never will.
- Not a right to travel. The reservation will not get you a boarding pass and will not carry you anywhere. Do not present it at a boarding gate.
- No contract of carriage. No contract of carriage arises between you and the airline, and none arises between you and us. We are not an airline and we do not sell air transportation.
We are not a travel agency selling flights, we are not an IATA-accredited ticketing agent, and we do not act as agent for any airline. We act on your instruction to place a reservation and nothing more.
3. How long a reservation lasts
The airline, not us, decides how long it will hold a seat without payment. In practice this is between 24 and 72 hours. Our current default is 48 hours. The exact deadline is shown on your itinerary and in your account, in the airline's local time where relevant.
When the deadline passes the airline cancels the reservation automatically. The booking reference stops verifying from that moment. We tell you by email before it happens, and again once it has.
We will place one fresh reservation free of charge within your plan if you need a later date or a longer window. A fresh reservation is a new booking with a new reference; the previous reference stops being valid, and any document you have already submitted showing the old reference will no longer verify.
4. What you may and may not use it for
The Service exists for situations where you are asked to evidence an onward or return booking: visa applications, immigration questioning on arrival, and airline check-in policies that require proof of onward travel.
You must not, and you agree that you will not:
- present the itinerary as a purchased ticket, a paid booking, or evidence that a fare has been paid;
- alter, retouch or add anything to the itinerary, including ticket numbers, prices, payment confirmations, agency accreditation numbers or any wording suggesting payment;
- attempt to use the reservation to board an aircraft or to obtain a boarding pass;
- use a passenger name that is not the name in the passport of the person who will travel, or invent a passenger;
- use the Service to deceive any person, authority or carrier as to a fact other than the existence of the reservation itself;
- place reservations in bulk, resell the Service, or use it in any way that an airline would treat as abuse of its booking systems.
We may suspend or terminate your access, cancel outstanding reservations, and refuse future orders if we reasonably believe any of the above has happened. Where we are required to, we will cooperate with airlines and with law enforcement.
5. Acceptance is never guaranteed
Whether a consulate, embassy, border officer or airline accepts a held reservation is entirely their decision. Requirements differ by country, by mission and sometimes by the individual officer, and they change without notice. Some authorities explicitly ask for a reservation rather than a purchased ticket; others insist on a ticket.
We do not promise that any authority will accept your reservation, and a refusal is not a defect in the Service. Section 8 explains the one case in which we do refund.
It is your responsibility to check what the authority you are dealing with requires before you order.
6. The information you give us
An airline reservation carries the passenger's full name and date of birth exactly as they appear in the travel document. You are responsible for giving us those details correctly. We do not verify them and we cannot correct a reservation once the airline has created it.
If the details are wrong, the reservation is of no use to you, and that is not a fault we can put right by refunding. We will place one corrected reservation free of charge if you tell us within 24 hours of receiving your itinerary.
7. Prices, payment and plans
| Plan | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Single reservation | $12.00 | One reservation, plus one free replacement as described in section 3. |
| Unlimited, monthly | $29.00 per month | Reservations for your own travel for as long as the subscription is active. |
All prices are in USD and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
The fee is our service fee. It is not an air fare and no part of it is paid to the airline. No fare is ever paid on your behalf.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Your card statement will show a descriptor identifying OnwardAir.
Subscription terms
The Unlimited plan is a monthly subscription. It renews automatically every month on the anniversary of the day you subscribed, and your card is charged $29.00 each time, until you cancel. We email you a receipt on every renewal.
You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then and are not charged again. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
The Unlimited plan is for one person's own travel arrangements. Fair use applies: we may contact you, and ultimately limit or end the plan, where usage is plainly inconsistent with personal use — for example reservations placed for many unrelated passenger names.
If we change the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.
8. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
Our full refund position is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In outline:
- If the booking reference does not verify with the airline, we refund you in full. This is the promise we make and the one we stand behind.
- If we cannot place a reservation at all, you are not charged, or you are refunded automatically if the charge has already been taken.
- Once a valid reservation has been delivered, the service has been performed in full and the fee is not refundable, except where the law gives you a right we cannot exclude.
Consumers in the UK and the EU
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for services without giving a reason. Because the Service is performed immediately — the airline reservation is placed within about a minute of payment — you are asked at checkout to request that performance begin at once and to acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed. If you have not asked for immediate performance, or the service has not yet been performed, the 14-day right is unaffected. To withdraw, email [email protected].
9. Availability and things outside our control
We depend on airline systems and on our distribution provider. Airlines withdraw fares, refuse holds on particular routes, and take their systems offline without notice. Where a reservation cannot be placed we say so at the time and you are not charged.
We do not promise that the Service will be available without interruption or free of errors. We do not promise that any particular airline, route, date or fare will be available to hold.
10. Our liability to you
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question in the twelve months before the claim arose;
- we are not liable for a visa refusal, a refused boarding, a denied entry, a missed appointment, or any decision taken by any authority or carrier;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for the cost of replacement travel arrangements;
- we are not liable for loss caused by information you gave us being wrong.
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services that are not carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
11. Your account
An account is optional; you can order without one. Where you have one, you are responsible for keeping access to the email address it uses, because that is how we sign you in and how we send your documents.
You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We keep order records after closure for as long as section 6 of the Privacy Policy describes, because we are required to.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it, and we keep the date of the last change at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects an active subscription, we tell subscribers by email at least 30 days beforehand.
13. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the State of California, United States, and the courts of the State of California, United States have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
Please contact us first: most complaints are resolved quickly. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 5 working days. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Before you raise a card dispute, please contact us. A chargeback raised without contacting us first takes considerably longer to resolve than an email does, and where a reservation was validly delivered we will provide the airline record in response.
